Bring the belly dance party class to your Ottawa or Gatineau home or you can have the dance party in the dance studio. The music and all the required goodies (hip scarves and veils) are supplied – everything you need to learn belly dance move.

The most wonderful aspect of this ancient dance is that it is not limited to people of a certain age, size, or ability. That is why so many women use it as a vehicle for nurturing a sense of personal empowerment, healing, and self-acceptance.

No prior dance experience is required!

All the dance teachers have many years of experience and training from renowned master dance instructors. Based on a foundation of high-quality dance technique, they provide culturally appropriate instruction for beginners to advanced students of Arabic dance. Most importantly, lessons are always fun, fun, fun!

To really get the atmosphere going start the experience off with a 15-minute belly dance performance.

The Belly Dance Party Class is taillored to the group's request, offering the benefit of personalized attention and correction for faster learning and fun.

Need to know:

• Please note that this experience is for all-female or mixed-gender parties only.
• Those who are under 18 years old will need to have a parent/guardian sign a consent form.
• Students can wear anything in which they are comfortable moving in. Yoga pants, exercise wear, skirts, dance leotards, and crop tops are just a few of the options commonly worn in a belly dance class. 
• Many belly dancers like to dance barefoot, it is recommended some lightweight foot covering, such as a gymnastic or ballet slipper. Outdoor shoes are not allowed inside the studio.
