Whistler Backcountry Snowshoe Tour – Crater Rim

Just outside the Whistler Olympic Village is the Crater Rim Trail that passes around the upper ridges of Logger’s Lake, a body of water situated inside a 10,000-year-old volcanic crater.

As you follow your expert guide along a rocky trail towards Logger’s Lake that quickly gains elevation, you’ll find yourself surrounded by lush forest. Within a few minutes you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the valley and Logger’s Lake. This is truly an unforgettable Whistler winter experience!

Need to know:

• Transportation is not included as part of the tour but can be added for an additional charge when you reserve your tour day/time with the tour provider.
• Minimum age for participation is 8 years.
• Participants must be a minimum of 16 years old to climb without a guardian.
• Minors (19yrs & under) require a guardian’s signature on their waiver.
• Please bring a daypack (18-30 litres), hiking boots, weatherproof and warm clothing, lunch, snacks, and water (1 - 1.5 litres).
