Introduction to Rock Climbing, Squamish, Whistler

Experience some of the best rock climbing in the Sea to Sky!

This experience is a fun day designed to introduce beginners to the sport of rock climbing. A professional guide is there to safely set up everything for you. All the equipment you’ll need is included and no experience is necessary. There are a variety of climbs to suit everyone's abilities.

This climbing adventure takes up to 4 hours and your guide will introduce you to the local rock climbing crags of either Whistler or Squamish … and then have fun climbing some of the best single pitch routes the area has to offer.

What's included:

• Professional certified guide
• Rock climbing equipment: ropes, harness, climbing shoes, and helmet

Duration: approximately 4-hours

When:

• June, July, August, and September – tours daily at 8:00am and 1:30pm *
• April, May, and October - tours Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 8:00am and 1:30pm *

Need to know:

• Minimum age for participation is 8 years.
• Participants must be a minimum of 16 years old to climb without a guardian.
• Minors (19 years & under) require a guardian’s signature on their waiver.
• The Sea to Sky weather can change fast. We recommend you bring weatherproof clothing and extra layers.
• It is a great idea to bring sunglasses and sunscreen.
